Prefibra flat-pack containers are built for speed, durability, and versatility. Whether you’re setting up a remote worksite, responding to an emergency, or expanding a facility, these units ship flat, assemble in hours, and perform for decades. Here are the questions we hear most.
Prefibra flat-pack containers are modular, dismountable structures engineered for projects that require easy transport and rapid installation. Their optimized design significantly reduces logistics and storage costs, making them ideal for a wide range of industrial, humanitarian, and construction applications.
Assembly can be completed in just a few hours. The process involves four simple steps: placing the lower chassis on a flat surface, bolting the corner and center supports, installing the wall panels along with windows and doors, and the unit is ready for use — no heavy machinery or highly specialized labor required.
The standard configuration measures 5.97 m wide × 2.30 m deep × 2.64 m tall, offering 13.70 m² of usable floor area. Multiple model variants are available (PT101 through PT501, including WC and shower configurations) to suit different layout requirements.
The frame uses galvanized steel sheet conforming to EN 10346 DX 51D+Z / DIN EN 10169. Exterior and interior cladding consists of electrostatically powder-coated galvanized sheet in RAL 9002. Wall panels feature a sandwich system with 50 mm EPS insulation (12 kg/m³), while the roof uses 125 mm EPS (16 kg/m³). Flooring is 14 mm fibre-cement board topped with 2 mm PVC sheeting.
The units are designed for first-degree seismic zones (Ao = 0.40), snow loads of up to 80 kg/m², and wind speeds of up to 75 km/h. Wall and roof panels are rated for temperatures from -50°C to +60°C. The roof incorporates a special seaming system that guarantees 100% waterproofing.
The façade achieves a thermal transmittance (U-value) of 0.71 W/m²·K and the roof achieves 0.37 W/m²·K, ensuring strong thermal efficiency suitable for diverse climatic conditions.
Yes. The chassis is rated at 200 kg/m² load capacity, supporting two-storey stacking. Units can also be combined side by side to create larger modular complexes such as offices, dormitories, or field hospitals.
Standard electrical fit-out includes recessed NYM wiring (3×2.5 mm², TSE-certified), grounded 220V/2000W sockets, switches, telephone outlets, TSE-certified luminaires, and a 16A automatic fuse — all installed to TSE standards.
Yes. WC and sanitary model variants include clean-water pipework in TSE-certified PPRC and wastewater drainage in TSE-certified PVC. All sanitary fixtures also meet TSE certification requirements.
Benches, tables, shelving, sinks, blinds, ventilation fans, internal partition walls, and additional WC units can all be added at an extra cost to customize the space for your specific use case.
Prefibra flat-pack containers are used as worker accommodation, site offices, canteens, and warehouses in mining and oil & gas operations; mobile clinics and isolation units in healthcare; emergency shelters and coordination centers following natural disasters; and temporary housing for construction and resettlement projects.
